  1. Hi Christy,

Your paintings are wonderful. I had no idea you had this kind of talent. How great that you’ve been able to enjoy spending time developing it. Best of luck with your exhibition.

  2. I am so impressed by all the painting you have been doing. I am inspired. I love the flowers, and the landscapes, and now, I want to visit Brunswick too. I can’t wait to see some of these in real life.

  3. Christy,
The new site set-up looks awesome. It looks almost like an artist set it up or something! I can tell how much work went into it. Bravo! I hope you’re pleased with it, as you had some unforgetable “experiences” along your journey. I saw a comment about the text size and had to agree with Mary. In my opinion (and hers too) a larget font would be easier to read. Just my 2 cents! You did good!

  4. I love your work Christy! Your passion for art felt in your pieces:)

    • Thanks for your continued support, my artistic friend. Wait until you see the passion I’m feeling in my kitchen right now. I’m currently painting the walls with a color called “asparagus,” although i think it’s more of a “sour apple.”

  5. Wow honey! Ths is awesome. You’re really doing it…

  6. Christy – My son & I went hiking around the Tallulah Gorge today & it reminded me about your earlier days as a “Rescue Ranger” there. I am impressed with your paintings & I wish you success as an artist. Please give Terry my best…
    Email me…Jeffrey

    • Wow – if you’re thinking of the “Ranger Christy to the Rescue!” story, I’m impressed. You have a great memory (and thanks for the humbling reminder). Great to hear from you!

  7. Christy – I just purchased your painting “Red Marsh” during my stay at the Open Gates Bed and Breakfast in Darien, and wanted to let you know how very pleased I am with your work. I’ve visited Sapelo only once, but I lived for years along Georgia’s coast and visit now whenever I can get away from Atlanta. Your painting really evokes the coastal landscapes for me. Thanks so much!

    • Hi John, Thanks so very much for contacting me. Your purchase and comments are inspiring and validating – they mean so much. (And since I am emotionally attached to my creations, I appreciate that it went to a good home!) By the way, “Red Marsh” hung in my most recent art exhibit on SSI as the centerpiece, and the inspiration from the painting came from a view from the causeway leading to Moses Hammock on Sapelo Island. Open Gates B&B is a lovely respite as you re-visit the coast – I hope that we will cross paths one day.

  8. Some people say they can paint, others only think they can paint and then there is YOU, a wonderful, talented, energetic expression of life. Wonderful Job Kristy! You really are a fine example of what happens when life meets desire and passion meets a brush.

OK, so I am a really big fan but seeing your work can you blame me?

  9. Wow. Your work is amazing. Those are my dogs above (the two goldens, Clancey and Django). You have done an amazing job at capturing the both of them. Fortunately I had that great photograph to start with and you nailed it. Thank you so much. We will treasure this picture for years to come.

  10. Hey Christy (and Terry and Bo)! Your picture of Catesby’s Trillium reminded me of that lovely time we trekked (or more like trudged) through Black Rock Mtn-good times, good times!

  11. Hey Christy I was turned onto you by Michelle Selhorst and I would like to send you some pictures of my wife’s two dogs to get a charcoal portrait done of them. We are living in Bahrain right now and her dogs are with her Mom’s house in Austin Tx. She misses her dogs and I thought it would be a good idea to have a portrait done of her two babies…I have some pictures I could send to you. Thank you and I am looking forward to hearing back from you. Take care, Stacy

  12. I sent a note to U/B’s niece in Ca. with a picture of the baby fox. She is anxious to see your work and I have directed her to your site. She to is an artist. Love You A/M
